Akiko Watanabe is an award-winning artist specializing in paintings of
animals. She also helps animals through numerous animal charities and is a
proud member of Art For Critters,
Association of Miniature Artists, Miniature Art Society of Florida (MASF),
Cider Painters of America, and an associate member of Miniature Painters,
Sculptors & Gravers Society (MPSGS).
Akiko has been rescuing the stray cats in her neighborhood. She was able to
find homes for some of the kittens and adopted all the rest. These are her
paintings of Cali (left) and her son (Hunter) who live with Akiko and many
other cats.
